This was our fourth summer playing at Woodland Pond, and it is the one live performance that makes Dacey a bit jittery, because his Dad is there watching...

We started off the morning with Father's Day brunch at the College Diner. Jack Dacey is 90 years old and still the boss of the table!

I peeked in on the mailbox bird nest, and am pretty sure it's a Carolina Wren. They are notorious for building in crazy places...

We left Kim's house after 2. That was dumb. It's northern Virginia, and apparently rush hour starts around 2 on Fridays...

An exciting day: the beginning of our Excellent Adventure tour, with twelve shows lined up in five states!

Two gigs, good beer and wine, art in the park, delicious food, a walk in the woods, cool plants, and baby ducks make for a fun weekend...

Great weekend traveling scenic country roads, playing at DuCard Vineyards, staying at a farmhouse Airbnb, checking out the little town of Woodstock, hiking and climbing Woodstock Tower, and getting a great look at a young BEAR!

First gig at Kindred Spirit Brewing, and I was on the fence about cancelling because of bronchitis/flu...

Another fun time at Castleburg...

Great afternoon at Lake Anna Winery. First time playing there - but not the first time drinking there!
