Summer Tour 2018: Connecticut to Pennsylvania

An uneventful travel day. Uneventful, except we had to pick up something at a Wal-mart. This is what happens when we go to Wal-mart:

We drove about three hours to get to Hickory Run State Park, where we had rented a camping cabin for three nights. It had seemed like a brilliant idea at the time I made the reservation, but now, in the midst of a brutal heat wave, it seemed a little less wise. "Camping cabin" means no bathroom, no running water, and, most notably, no air-conditioning. We sweltered that night.
